Change Management
ConceptStep 5: Implement
Definition
The structured approach to transitioning individuals and teams from a current state to a desired future state.
Change management addresses the human side of process improvement — the resistance, uncertainty, and behavioral shifts required to make a new solution stick. In PIPS, Force Field Analysis surfaces the restraining forces that must be addressed for adoption to succeed. Without deliberate change management, technically correct solutions often fail because people revert to old habits.
