Implementation Plan
Definition
The operational blueprint for executing the selected solution with tasks, owners, and deadlines.
An Implementation Plan is a Step 4 (Select & Plan) deliverable that transforms the selected solution into a sequence of tasks with owners, deadlines, milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation. It typically includes phases (pilot, limited rollout, full rollout), a RACI chart, a communication plan, and a rollback strategy. It answers every execution question before the team faces it.
